Returns Policy

Maison De J (“we”, “us” or the “Company”) prides itself on providing products of the highest quality and is committed to customer satisfaction. Compliance to Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Refunds 

Refunds will not be available in any circumstances other those set out in Australian Consumer Law. If you are not satisfied with any item that you receive from us, you may be entitled to return that item to us in accordance with the below.

Exchanges and Returns

While we’re sure you will love the product, if you change your mind an exchange of goods or credit note is at the discretion of Maison de J, proof of purchase will be required to return or exchange the product and if a credit note is issued it will not include the shipping fee.

All our products are hand selected and packed just for you, and we have confidence in our delivery providers ability to get your items to you as you’d like them. However, if for any reason you are not happy please contact us, within 48 hours of receiving your order. We must be notified of your intention to return an item within three working days of receipt of your order, and receive the returned item within 7working days of receipt of your order. Please email us within 48 hours of receiving your order at info@maisondej.com.au

  • All item/s are to be in new, unwashed and unused condition with all tags attached. 
  • We will not be responsible for any items returned that are not returned in new condition. 
  • We will not accept your exchange if we consider the item/s used.

Returns

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

  • If you are approved, then your refund will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card. *Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund too.
  • if it is out of stock, we will refund the purchase price. 

  • If the product has been damaged in transit please notify us immediately and we will contact the delivery provider to resolve any claims. Please note that claims must be made within 7days of delivery of the item.
  • Unfortunately we don’t offer free returns so please choose carefully.
  • You will need to cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty, or outside the 7 day return period. Please ensure the item is safely and securely packaged.

Missing or late refunds 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

*What you must return to us

To receive a replacement or credit, you must first return the item to us along with its original packaging(Internal package) *You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

SALE ITEMS

Only regular priced items may be refunded. There are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on sale items. All sale purchases are final

In this returns policy, “Business Day” means a day (other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday) when banks in Victoria are open for business.
